To stay well, mothers-to-be need a combination of biological understanding, psychological boundaries, and a radical shift in how they view themselves and "productivity."
💜 Give yourself permission to evolve. You aren't just adding a baby to your life; you are becoming a new version of yourself.
💜 The right to say "no" to social obligations, stressful family dynamics, overexertion, and/or unwanted advice and opinions about what's to come.
💜 True support. A village that shows up and helps you -mentally, emotionally, physically, and logistically. It is so much more than a baby shower registry.
💜 A true Postpartum Mental Health Plan established before the baby arrives -do not wait on creating this plan with your partner.
💜 Nervous system regulation strategies -you will now be regulating for two systems -yours and your baby's.
💜 Strategies for self-care. Carving out time just for you. And no, you do not have to "earn" self-care/time for yourself.
