📣 Important Update for Louisiana Medicaid Members with UnitedHealthcare (UHC)

If your child is currently covered by UnitedHealthcare (UHC) through Louisiana Medicaid, please take a moment to review this important change.

🔹 UnitedHealthcare will no longer be offered to Louisiana Medicaid members after March 31, 2026.
🔹 To avoid any interruption in coverage, members must choose a new Medicaid health plan before April 1, 2026.

💡 How to choose your new plan:
➡️ Visit: myplan.healthy.la.gov
➡️ Call: 1-855-229-6848 (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
➡️ Download the Healthy Louisiana mobile app (available in the App Store and Google Play)

📌 If a plan is not selected, Louisiana Medicaid will automatically assign one beginning April 1.

📬 Once your new plan is confirmed, you will receive a new insurance ID card. Please bring your updated card to your child’s next appointment.

If you have questions about selecting a plan, we encourage you to contact the Louisiana Medicaid office directly for assistance.
