Meet Teresa!

Teresa is one of our talented Scalp Therapists in our Mermaid Lounge. She is dual licensed as a cosmetologist and esthetician and brings so much knowledge and relaxation to Calm Waters!

When we asked Teresa to tell us about her style here, we think she nailed her description!

“During my head spa sessions, I aim create a serene and tranquil environment that fosters relaxation and rejuvenation of the scalp & hair. My sessions are thoughtfully designed with the dual purpose of educating and enhancing facial & scalp/hair health. I aim to provide an oasis of calm where each visit leaves you feeling revitalized and balanced.”

You can book your head spa appointments with Teresa on select Sunday mornings, Wednesday and Friday evenings, and Thursday mornings and afternoons!

Have you seen some of our latest upgrades at Calm Waters?

We are constantly striving to improve our clients experience at Calm Waters and are so thankful you have been patient with us as we continue to grow!

💜 We have a new float tool called The Float Wedge! This will keep your float door propped open so you can get seen fresh air If you need (or if you’re nervous about closing the door all the way)

🩵 We have new door handles on our float and sauna room, now with locks!

💜 We upgraded our red light therapy glasses for more comfortable pairs

🩵 We got a new water cooler for our refreshment station!

These may seem like small changes but for us they feel huge! Come book an appointment with us to experience these new offerings yourself🩵💜

Please note we have some dates of early closings and vacation days coming up for the summer!

These closures will be specifically for halo, Float, and sauna appointments! If you have a head spa or massage appointment booked during these times, you will be good to go!

Hey all! I just wanted to take a moment to wish all those who celebrate a Happy Mother’s Day! I’m Allie and I’m first and foremost a mom, and then I’m the owner of Calm Waters.

Becoming a mom only months after opening a new business has brought a whirlwind of joys and challenges. But I think the journey was meant to go hand in hand for us. I have so much respect for the all the moms out there doing their best even when they are on their worst days. I said this last year, but it needs to be said again. From the amazing show Bluey: “You’re doing great.”

The gaps in the schedule we are looking to fill are:
Monday: 9 am-9 pm
Tuesday: 9 am-9 pm
Wednesday: 3 pm - 9 pm***
Thursday: 4:30 pm-9 pm
Friday: for summer: 9-2:30 pm
Saturday: 9 am - 9 pm
Sunday: 2-9 pm

This is a wonderful employment opportunity to grow your skills as a cosmetologist outside of a traditional setting and away from all the chemicals involved with hair care. And we also are accepting applications from those newly licensed!

Our heads spa services are live! Book yourself a 60 or 90 minute luxurious session in our Mermaid Lounge!

Each head spa session will include a customized scalp and facial treatment, scalp analysis for first time clients, a calming neck and shoulder massage, and a quick blow dry of the scalp to lock in your treatment!
