If you are trying to schedule am appointment on the My Chart App and it says the schedule is full, call the office, as there are appointments that are available and can be scheduled through the front staff.

Dr Bailey is now accepting all newborns again. If you would like him to take care of your baby then you can request him in the nursery at Lafayette General Hospital or Women's and Children's Hospital.

When using the my chart ap, it can appear that there are no available appointments on the ap, but you can still call the office to schedule an appointment as there may be some appointments available. There is also an option to select "request appointment." This option will send a message to the secretaries to contact you to make an appointment. We encourage you to use this option a well. Thank you for your patience.

Due to the volume of calls and the length with which it takes to answer the calls on the new system, we will have a new policy to allow 24-48 hours to refill medications. If you call on a Friday to refill the medication, please give us until the next business day to refill the prescription.

In addition please give us 24 hours to answer phone calls. Please take the time to download the my chart app in order to make it easier to communicate. The site is

As of today, November 14, 2022, Lafayette Children's Clinic has joined Lourdes Physician Group. We are no longer authorized to answer any medical or work related texts on our cell phones, nor are we allowed to answer any messages on social media regarding health concerns. All communication will have to be done by either calling our office (337-989-5061) or through the MyChart portal (once available). Thank you in advance for understading.

Effective November 14, 2022 Lafayette Children's Clinic will be joining Lourdes Physician Group. We will be closed at NOON on Friday November 11 to transition our front office staff. We will be open Monday, November 14th through November 30th (with the exception of Thanksgiving and Black Friday). We will also be closed Thursday, Dec 1st and Friday Dec 2nd for the final implementation of our new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. We will again reopen Monday, December 5th with a new EMR. Unfortunately, the number of visits per day will be limited during this transition. We will suggest that you arrive 20 minutes early for your appointment due to the fact that each patient will have to be registered into the new system. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we move forward with this change for our office and patients. Thank you for your cooperation.
