Dealing with sore feet? Plantar or heel pain? Try these two. Make sure you go slow on the second movement. The calf stretch will help your feet as well. Check out if you are interested in picking up their Moball adjustable roller. I have them for sale at my office as well.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a tool practitioners use to manipulate the skin, myofascia, muscles, and tendons. It helps to break down the scar tissue and fascial restrictions in your soft tissues. This includes your muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves and fascia. I like to use multiple modalities during each session. This tool is one of my favorites!

I was fortunate to work with a great staff of sports massage therapists during my racing career. Seeing them do their thing every day sparked my interest in being a therapist. I knew I wanted to work with athletes and help people get out of pain. 8 years into my career, I get to do this every day! Thankful for all of my clients and all the people who have helped me along the way!

About Jonathan

LMT, NMT, in Lafayette, Colorado

Jonathan has been an endurance athlete for over 20 years, including competing as a collegiate distance runner and professional cyclist with BMC Pro Cycling Team. He brings a wide variety of experience and knowledge to his practice and specializes in sports massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, chronic pain/injury rehab, neck pain, and stress management.

Jonathan first became interested in bodywork after dealing with his own sports-related injuries that occurred during his 2008 cycling season. After trying other modalities, he turned to massage and trigger point therapy and quickly recovered. For Jonathan, this therapeutic process sparked a passion for bodywork and alternative modes of therapy. Jonathan takes an integrative approach in his massage practice with a combination of muscular healing and relaxation. He aims to help clients heal injuries, alleviate chronic pain, and find a balance for optimal health and well-being. Jonathan graduated from Bear Heart School of Massage Therapy in 2011.
