As a therapist, one of the biggest honors we can receive is for others to see our clients as we see them- for their strong will to persevere, to overcome and to succeed in their won way. with the end of the school year comes award ceremonies to recognize students for their academic and extra-curricular achievements. While it is absolutely a great way to improve motivation and to recognize well-deserving students, these students can be exclusive to children with different learning styles and abilities. So, when one of our long-term clients receives an amazing award, we just have to share it! 🩷
This client has been awarded for their perseverance in the classroom and within school activities. In therapy, they have worked hard on their regulation, language, and social skills, and they continue to make strides in these areas daily.
