Dr. Grant Blanchard joined our practice in September 2024. Originally from Prairieville, LA, Dr. Blanchard relocated to Lafayette with her husband, Josh and their dog, Frankie.

Dr. Blanchard graduated from St. Amant High School in 2012. She graduated Summa cm laude from LSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in psychology in 2016. She then attended LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans where she earned her doctorate degree of medicine in 2016. During medical school, she was selected by her peers to be a member of the Gold Humanism Society.
Since that time, she has been completing her residency training in OBGYN at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. During her time, she has served as the Academic Administrative Chief resident.

She has a passion for practicing evidence-based medicine and providing equitable care to all.

We are so thankful that she is a part of our Southern family!

Briley has been a valued part of our team since March 2022, bringing compassion, dedication, and a true team-first attitude to everything she does. Her background in the NICU shines through in the exceptional care she provides to our patients every day.

She shares that what she loves most about working here is the supportive, family-like environment—and it shows. Briley is always willing to lend a helping hand and ensures no one ever feels alone.

Outside of work, Briley enjoys spending time at home with her husband, David, daughter, Amelia, and their dog Finn!

This month, we want to shine a spotlight on the wonderful Dr. Jennifer Breaux Pugliese, MD!

A native of Lafayette, she and her husband have four children. Dr. Pugliese enjoys the privilege of raising her family and practicing medicine where she was also born and raised. She also comes from a family of Lafayette physicians including her grandfather, father and brother.

Dr. Pugliese received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from LSU, then earned her medical doctorate from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, and completed her OB-GYN training at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, where she earned the “E. Daniel Griffin, JR, MD Award” for surgical excellence.

During her training she obtained broad exposure in obstetrical care ranging from routine to high risk. Additionally, she is extensively trained in minimally invasive procedures, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She has previously served as the Chairperson of the Women’s Services Department at Lafayette General Medical Center.

All that to say, we’re lucky to have her and love that she’s part of the Southern family!
