There are times as a therapist when I sit in a session and ask to pause. A pause to really soak in what is being said/realized/acknowledged in that very moment. As we wrap up the year, we find ourselves processing our experiences- the good, the bad, the ugly, and the uncomfortable. In those moments of reflecting, amazing little gems often surface. Today one surfaced. I am so proud of my people.

🙋🏻‍♀️ I am definitely one that goes into catastrophic thinking mode when I am told “We need to talk.” or “Come to my office when you get a chance to talk.” Immediately, worst case scenarios are swirling through my mind and within 20 minutes I have determined that I have made a huge mistake and am being let go.
