On November 1st, we celebrated not just an incredible leader, but a woman who pours her heart, skill, and dedication into every patient, every team member, and every moment. Your passion for wound and ostomy care inspires us all to be better, do better, and care deeper.

🌟 Happy Juneteenth!! 🌟

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, a day of freedom, resilience, and progress. As we reflect on the journey toward equality, we also honor Estelle Massey Osborne, a trailblazer in nursing who shattered racial barriers and paved the way for Black nurses across the country.

Born in Texas, Osborne became the first Black nurse to earn a master's degree in nursing education. She fought tirelessly to eliminate racial discrimination in healthcare, ensuring that Black nurses had opportunities to serve and lead. Her work helped integrate nursing schools and military nursing programs, opening doors for generations to come.

On this day of reflection and celebration, let’s remember the courage of those who fought for freedom—both on the battlefield and in the fight for equality in every profession. Happy Juneteenth! ❤💛💚
