🎒✏️ Our Back to School program was a huge success! Thanks to the continued generosity of Junior League of Lafayette, more than 160 children in families affected by cancer are heading into the new school year equipped with the supplies they need to thrive.

This program not only eases the load for parents focusing on their health, but also empowers kids to start strong — prepared, confident, and supported by their community.

Mary Ellen is a 12-year cancer survivor who first got involved through volunteering. Her first Triathlon was in 2008, and her sisters soon followed in 2014. Now, it’s a family tradition with her sisters by her side every year!

“Others should participate because it is a true sense of community. It reminds us what we love about Acadiana and how we take care of each other. You are challenging yourself but you are helping the community and others at the same time.”

Want to join the fun?

🏃‍♀️ Wednesdays at 6PM – Tri Running
1–3 miles, or 30–45 minutes of however you like to move.
