This is where it all began—Breaux Bridge. Right here, beside my dear wife, we started a journey in 1997 that would become one of the greatest honors of our lives. Together, we poured our hearts into every patient who walked through our doors—with love, care, passion, and purpose. And honestly, words could never fully capture how much that has meant to us.

From day one, being an Internal Medicine doctor wasn’t just a career—it was a calling. I gave everything I had, every single day, and my wife was right there beside me, doing the same. Breaux Bridge wasn’t just a location. It was home. It was family.

Today, July 15, 2025, we close this chapter—not because I’m retiring (I’m not!), but because life has called us to make a change. Due to deeply personal family circumstances, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to close our beloved Breaux Bridge clinic and move to Lafayette, to the heart of River Ranch. To say I’m feeling a whirlwind of emotions would be an understatement.

To every single person who started this journey with us in Breaux Bridge—thank you. You gave us your trust, your stories, your struggles, and your victories. You gave us purpose. And to those who had to find care closer to home, please know—we understand, and we are so grateful for the time we had together.

And to those of you who are continuing this journey with us—get ready. Lafayette, here we come—with open arms, full hearts, and the same unwavering commitment to serve, love, and care for our patients like family.

Debido a circunstancias imprevistas, el Dr. Cordova trasladará su consultorio.

El Dr. Cordova ha estado atendiendo a pacientes en Breaux Bridge desde 1997. Por lo tanto, la decisión de mudarse no fue fácil, pero sí necesaria. Sabemos que esto puede ser un inconveniente para algunos pacientes. Extrañaremos a aquellos que ya no verán al Dr. Cordova, pero lo comprendemos completamente.

El último día en nuestra ubicación actual será el 3 de julio.

Due to unforseen circumstances, Dr. Cordova will be relocating his practice.

Dr. Cordova has been caring for patients in Breaux Bridge since 1997. So, the decision to relocate was not an easy one but a necessary one. We realize that this may be an inconvenience for some patients. We will miss the ones that no longer see Dr. Cordova but completely understand.

The last day at our current location is July 3rd.

Dr. Cordova will begin seeing patients at the new location on July 21st.

Good morning,

Breaux Bridge and the surrounding areas are expected to experience heavy rainfall starting today through Thursday. Because the safety and well-being of my patients is always my top priority, I have made the decision to close the office on Wednesday. We will resume normal business hours on Thursday.
