Congratulations Octavio Santos, CNA, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.
For the past seven years, Octavio, "Nikki" has been a dedicated and dependable member of the Rosewalk family. He began his journey as a Nurse Aide in Training and quickly earned his CNA license, continuing to provide residents with exceptional care, compassion, and consistency every day.
Nikki’s calm demeanor, patience, and skill have earned him deep admiration from both residents and co-workers. His peers describe him as “a great hands-on teacher, very patient and hardworking,” adding that he is “always prepared to help others, determined to do his job, and do it thoroughly.” Whether mentoring a new employee or comforting a resident, Nikki approaches each interaction with kindness and professionalism.
Originally from the Philippines, Nikki worked as a nurse before moving to the United States nine years ago. His lifelong passion for healthcare and his strong sense of purpose stem from the values instilled in him by his family and culture: respect, service, and compassion for others. These same values guide him every day as he works to make a difference in the lives of the residents he serves.
Nikki truly embodies the spirit of the Quest for Excellence. His dedication, compassion, and unwavering work ethic make him an invaluable part of the Rosewalk Village of Lafayette team, and we are proud to celebrate him for this well-deserved honor
