Therapy Success Story: Richard's Journey to Independence

When Richard arrived at Rosewalk Village, he was facing one of the toughest battles of his life. After a serious infection resulted in an amputation, he left the hospital bedbound, requiring a mechanical lift just to transfer. He began his therapy journey with the most basic movements — rolling side to side in bed, sitting up, and building strength to sit at the edge of the bed.

With hard work, perseverance, and the support of our incredible therapy team, Richard began to regain strength and mobility. Day by day, he pushed himself further — from bed to chair, from sitting to standing, and now, he proudly walks with a walker! He has also lost nearly 60 pounds during his recovery, a testament to his commitment to reclaiming his health and independence.

Richard shares his deepest thanks to our dedicated therapists Jyoti, Carrie, and Jenn, who encouraged him every step of the way. We are so proud of you, Richard! Your journey is an inspiration to all of us. Keep moving forward! 💪👏
