I am sad to announce that over the next few weeks our beloved front desk coordinator, Dana Reynolds, will transition to a very limited role. We can't express how much we will miss her presence and appreciate her work in representing our practice, as Dana is one of the nicest people in our community and most loyal members of our team.
The practice has experienced significant change over the past 4 years and we've reached a point that our volume of patients and the number of providers can no longer support her position. As the owner of ESP Sports Medicine, it is a decision I was trying to avoid. For those who don't know, Dana is one of my close personal friends, long before she ever worked with us. I've spent Christmas Day with her, I'm close to her family and we are supportive in each other's personal life. I hired her for the fact that she was the best person I could think of to represent our group and she's been amazing. But, as the healthcare industry has pushed us away from a higher volume concept and has encouraged us to develop a smaller and more efficient practice style, I've had to make this difficult decision.
The plan is to have Dana assisting in and around the practice as needed, so you're likely to still see and hear from her moving forward. Yet, I encourage you to reach out to her and send her well wishes and good vibes. Dana is a person of strong character and exceptional ethics, and she is hoping to develop her own business with a close friend. But, if you know of an employer who might be in need of her services or someone to assist in odd jobs, then please reach out. At the end of 2024, the business anticipates moving into a new building on S. Public Rd. It would be a building that the business owns and the hopes are that we could expand again to where our staffing needs change.
Dana, thank you for everything you've done for us and for our patients. We're forever thankful for your service.
Sincerely,
Eric St.Pierre
