Sudden hearing loss is an urgent medical condition. The odds of recovering hearing are best if treatment is started in the first 7 days. These beautiful flowers were sent to me today from someone that reached out to me on Day 6 and I pulled out all the stops to get him seen & treatment started. Thankfully, Dr. Paul Wilson was on-hand to squeeze him immediately following my part of the visit.

Did you know sudden hearing loss is a medical emergency?

If you or someone you know experiences a rapid loss of hearing — especially over hours or a few days — don’t wait. Early treatment is critical.

In addition to hearing loss, symptoms may include:

• A sudden “popping” sound
• Fullness or pressure in the ear
• Ringing (tinnitus)
