A glimpse into the surgical side of dermatology👩🏼‍⚕️ 
In this case, Dr. Machen removed a lipoma, a benign fatty growth located just beneath the skin. The procedure was done under local anesthesia with no need for hospital care or sedation.

Lipomas are typically harmless but can be removed if they grow, become painful, or for cosmetic reasons.
