Medi-Thrift Pharmacy is located in LaFayette, Georgia, a small town in the north-west region of Georgia at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, where "Small Town Friendliness, and Big Town Discount" is our motto. In most occasions your prescription can be filled in 10 minutes or less however on a busy day the process may take longer. We accept Georgia medicaid, medicare, and most third party insurance. Help us celebrate Paula this week! She has decided to mostly retire. Please come by and thank her for all the love and care she has given our Medi-Thirft family throughout the years.

August marked her 12th year with us, but prior to that she had been here 9 years before moving. It is a bittersweet time for all of us, but we are so excited for her! We love you Paula!

July is UV Safety Awareness Month, so let’s address a common myth. Think you’re safe from sunburn in the shade? Not quite… 🚫 Myth: You can’t get a sunburn in the shade. ✅ Truth: UV rays can reflect off water, sand, pavement, and even grass. Shade helps, but it doesn’t block all exposure. To keep yourself safe from harmful rays, follow proper sun safety: wear SPF 30+, use hats and sunglasses, stay hydrated, and reapply sunscreen every two hours. Even in the shade, your skin still needs backup. ☀️
