🚨 URGENT MEDICAID INSURANCE UPDATE 🚨

To our families with Medicaid:
The state has announced it will not renew its contract with UnitedHealthcare Community Plan (UHC). At this time, UHC is the only Medicaid plan Premier accepts.

🗓 What this means:

The state’s contract with UHC ends 12/31/25

After that date, all UHC patients will be reassigned to a new Medicaid plan unless you choose one yourself

✅ Our plan:
After careful review (including which local subspecialists accept coverage), Premier will be moving to Louisiana Healthcare Connections (LHC).

📞 What you need to do:
Please contact Medicaid to request a plan change to Louisiana Healthcare Connections.
If no action is taken, the state will automatically assign you to a random plan.

🔧 Next steps on our end:
We are actively working to become credentialed with LHC as quickly as possible to ensure there is no lapse in coverage or care for your child.

It’s been another fabulous year for Premier Pediatrics! We enjoyed celebrating the holidays with almost our ENTIRE team and their signifant others at Painting with a Twist last night! Each clinic created a mural which will be hung in their respective lobbies! SO much fun…who knew we had so many artists in healthcare🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Merry Christmas, y’all! And thank you to the absolute best staff around. You’re all an absolute pleasure to work with…we’re a true work family❤️🎅🏼🎄
