We wrapped up National Assisted Living Week in style—our residents and staff dressed to impress for Disco Fever Friday and capped off the week with a lively Happy Hour together.

National Assisted Living Week is all about honoring the people who make senior living so special—our residents, families, and dedicated team. This week has been a wonderful reminder of the joy, connection, and community we share every day here at The Vincent. 💙

🌟 Assisted Living Week Fun Continues! 🌟

On Wild West Wednesday 🤠, our entire Vincent family—from Cottages to Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—came together for a rootin’-tootin’ Happy Hour sponsored by our friends at Heart of Hospice - Acadiana. The saloon was full of smiles, laughter, and plenty of western flair!

Then came Color Me Crazy Thursday 🎨✨, where residents and staff lit up the community in the brightest and boldest colors you can imagine. The hallways were bursting with energy, joy, and personality.

This week has been nothing short of amazing, and our community has been more alive than ever. 💙 We can’t wait to wrap up our Assisted Living Week celebrations this afternoon—stay tuned for more fun highlights! 🎉

Today, we pause to remember the events of September 11, 2001—a day that changed our nation forever. We honor the lives lost, the families forever impacted, and the heroes who showed unimaginable courage in the face of tragedy.

At The Vincent, we stand together in gratitude for the freedoms we cherish, and in reverence for the resilience, unity, and strength that emerged from such sorrow. May we continue to carry forward the spirit of compassion and community that reminds us that, even in our darkest hours, hope and humanity shine through.

Our Assisted Living residents and staff kicked off the week with some serious fun and lots of smiles! 💙

🏈 Sports Mania Monday brought out jerseys, hats, and plenty of team spirit from both residents and staff.
🌴 Tacky Tourist Tuesday had us “packing our bags” for laughs with Hawaiian shirts, big hats, and cameras galore.

Our Memory Care neighborhood celebrated in the sweetest way possible—with delicious banana splits piled high with toppings, laughter, and lots of colorful smiles! 🌈😋💛 From whipped cream swirls to sprinkles galore, every bite was as joyful as the memories made today. 💕

The cherry 🍒 on top— Bordens Ice Cream Shoppe providing fun swag that made the day even brighter—our residents loved it and we thank you! 🎉💫

🍕✨Slice Into the School Year at The Vincent! ✨🍕

Back-to-school season is in full swing, and our Independent Living residents opened their doors (and hearts!) for a special Family Pizza Night. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Residents invited their children and grandchildren—who are juggling busy school schedules—to slow down and share a meal together.

Our talented dining team crafted homemade pizzas, fresh salads, and warm breadsticks 🥗🍞, and the dining room was filled with laughter, stories, and plenty of love. 💛

At The Vincent, we’re more than a community—we’re family, and there’s nothing better than making memories across generations. 🏡❤️

🎶✨ Rockin’ & Rollin’ at The Vincent! ✨🎶

Our residents had an absolute blast as Darrell and the Hittmen returned for another high-energy show — this time with a very special guest… Elvis himself! 👑🎤 From toe-tapping hits to sing-along favorites, the performance was as entertaining as ever and had our community smiling from ear to ear. 💃🕺
