Placed the final touches on our open house / ceremony agenda for Monday at 1PM! After several months of training, we are excited to graduate 9 RW providers across the state as Get S-M-A-R-T certified facilitators!😊

And that's a wrap! Another successful three-day intensive training for our second round, Cohort II....we made it..even through some sniffles and snow! ❄️

Our next step is for both of our training cohort groups to connect for the launch of our Skills Labs and Information Sessions.

We can’t tell you how excited it makes us to see hundreds of kids being introduced to the GET S-M-A-R-T Youth curriculum through our partnership with 4C Health. Five years ago when we partnered with Tippecanoe County Community Corrections, we never dreamed that our short, unique therapeutic education program, S-M-A-R-T-E-R, would be so well received by the staff and participants. We are grateful for the opportunity we have had over these past few years. Witnessing people see their own light within, while planting seeds for change has been rewarding to us as facilitators! ✨

Meet Tristen Myers, a new CALLA S-M-A-R-T® Facilitator! As a first-generation college student, Tristen places a high value on learning and works in the field of Higher Education. She is passionate about well-being and is also a Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Facilitator leading su***de prevention training. Tristen graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and is currently finishing her masters degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education at Indiana State University. She lives with her husband and two dogs in Hillsboro, Indiana and enjoys traveling and going to yoga classes in her free time. We’re happy to welcome her to the Calla Crew!
