An important step recommended by the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) is for your child to visit the orthodontist for an evaluation by at least age 7. This may surprise you since orthodontics is usually associated with adolescence. However, early screening can help detect and prevent significant orthodontic and dental problems from developing. Balhoff Orthodontics wants you to know that it is never too late to achieve that perfect smile. We recognize that every patient has different needs, and we pride ourselves in the courteous and professional service we deliver to each person who walks through our doors. Seeing an orthodontist at a young made all the difference for this young patient's smile. After an orthodontic appliance followed by braces, she now has the wonderful smile that she hoped for!

Balhoff Orthodontics will be closed the morning of Monday, January 26, due to the winter weather conditions and potential for icy roads in locations around Lafayette and Acadiana.
