Just got back from a conference and I’m still thinking about what I learned.

The Motiva Preservé procedure takes a genuinely different approach to breast augmentation ↪️less invasive, smaller incisions, and specifically designed to preserve your natural breast tissue and sensation.

The implant itself actually shifts shape with your body’s position. Round when you’re lying down, teardrop when you’re standing. I hadn’t seen anything like it before.

I’ll be sharing more about this soon. In the meantime, if you have questions or want to know if you’d be a candidate, reach out — we’re in Lafayette Monday through Friday and Brentwood on Saturdays.

I will think about your face for weeks before your surgery.

Old photos. Angles. Structure. Symmetry. What’s changed, what’s stayed the same, what’s possible.

And yes — I dream about surgeries. I can’t turn it off, and I don’t want to.
Plastic surgery is the love of my life. My patients deserve a surgeon who means that.

In your 20s, people will tell you your life is over when a big rig hits you head-on.
Ignore them.

I was in medical school, planning a career in women’s health, when everything changed in an instant. Eighteen reconstructive surgeries.

Months of recovery. Leaving school indefinitely.

Lying in that hospital bed, I watched my plastic surgeons work. Not just on my body... but on my hope. My future. My sense of self.

That’s when I knew.
I went back to medical school. Switched from women’s health to plastic surgery because I’d seen firsthand how it heals more than just bodies. It restores confidence. Identity. The ability to look in the mirror and recognize yourself again.

Then came motherhood. Three children. And the voices started again: “You can’t be both a mom and a surgeon.”

Watch me.

Today, I own my practice in my hometown of Lafayette, California. Every patient who walks through my door gets a surgeon who understands that physical transformation is deeply personal... because I’ve been on that table too.

Your setbacks don’t define you.
How you come back does.

Happy National Doctors’ Day to every physician who turned their pain into purpose. We see you.

Facelifts are one of the most complex procedures in plastic surgery — and the price reflects that.

The face is filled with delicate nerves, vessels, and structures that require an extremely precise hand. One wrong move can mean permanent damage. That’s why this isn’t a procedure you want to shop by price.

As a board-certified plastic surgeon, the facelift is my specialty — and honestly, it’s what I love most. I’ve spent years mastering the anatomy of the face so that every lift I perform is as safe as it is beautiful.
If you’re considering a facelift, come in for a consultation and let’s talk about what’s right for you.

Pre-op prep is just as crucial as the procedure itself. ✨

The week leading up to your surgery sets the foundation for optimal healing.

❤️‍🩹 Focus on hydrating, eating nutritious meals, and getting quality rest.

💊Make sure to pause any supplements that could affect your blood (we’ll review this together at your pre-op appointment).

📅 Take time to prepare your recovery space—stock up on easy meals, download entertainment, and arrange for help if needed.

The more prepared you are, the smoother your recovery will be.

As a board-certified plastic surgeon who has personally experienced BOTH saline and silicone implants, I get this question daily! Both options are FDA-approved and safe, but they each have unique characteristics:Saline implants are filled with sterile salt water and can be adjusted during surgery for perfect symmetry. If rupture occurs, the saline is safely absorbed by your body. They typically require a smaller incision and are often more budget-friendly.Silicone implants are pre-filled with silicone gel that closely mimics natural breast tissue, providing a more natural feel and movement. They’re available in various shapes and profiles for customized results.Having had both types gives me unique insight into the patient experience from both sides of the operating table. The right choice depends on your anatomy, lifestyle, and aesthetic goals. During our consultation, we’ll discuss your options thoroughly to determine what’s best for YOU.Questions about breast augmentation? Drop them below or DM me to schedule a consultation.//
