Fact: Diabetes is not caused by eating too much sugar, but it can be managed with a healthy diet and lifestyle.
There are two main types of diabetes: Type 1 & Type 2.
The purpose of this particular Awareness Month is to educate the public and promote healthy lifestyle changes to prevent or manage diabetes.
