Your spine isn’t just a stack of bones—it protects your spinal cord, which is like the highway for signals between your brain and the rest of your body. If something’s off, like a misalignment from sitting too much, stress, or even an old injury, it can mess with those signals and lead to things like pain, stiffness, or even problems you don’t immediately connect to your back, like headaches or trouble sleeping.

Chiropractors focus on fixing those misalignments—called subluxations—with adjustments that get things moving properly again. It’s not just about cracking your back for relief when you’re already hurting; regular visits can catch little issues before they turn into big ones. Think of it like tuning up a car—you don’t wait for it to break down completely. Studies have shown it can help with stuff like lower back pain, neck pain, and even improve your range of motion, which keeps you active and feeling good.

Plus, your nervous system being in check can influence other things—better posture, less tension, maybe even a stronger immune response since stress doesn’t build up as much.
