Dr. Schneider is a graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now the University of Louisiana - Lafayette). He received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Schneider then completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through Yale University School of Medicine and the Hospital of St. Although not all residencies are alike, Facial Cosmetic Surgery and Facial Trauma & Reconstruction were major components of Dr. Schneider's training which differentiates him from other Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons in the Acadiana community. Dr. Schneider's extensive depth of training uniquely qualifies him to address and treat your intraoral and facial surgical needs. He has also surrounded himself with a personable staff ready to assist you. A question often asked of Dr. Bruce Schneider is, "Are you a Plastic Surgeon?" to which he proudly answers "NO". Dr. Schneider is a Board Certified Oral Surgeon and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
