Nearly 80% of people will deal with low back pain, and most treatments fail because they focus on just one part of the problem. But back pain usually involves a mix of muscles, discs, joints, nerves, blood flow, and inflammation.

Lasting relief comes from treating all of it, something quick fixes just don’t do.

When it comes to recurring back issues, it’s rarely just about the pain. It’s about how you move.

A Movement Lab Analysis helps us dig deeper to understand what triggers your pain and, more importantly, what movements help relieve it. These problems are movement-based, which means the solution should be, too.

A proper assessment includes more than just a history; it includes real movement. That’s how we build a personalized plan that actually works.

Quick warning about peptides: a patient brought one from TikTok, big red flag. Always make sure your peptides are third-party tested. We’ve tested hundreds and only trust a few brands.

The only bad reactions we’ve seen come from untested or research-only products. So before using peptides, check they’re from a reputable, tested source. They can be great, but be careful where you get them!

My favorite advice about relationships: "Always be on the same team." It’s not about facing each other, it’s about facing the world together.

When you’re on the same side, even the toughest storms seem more manageable. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about showing up for each other, every day, as a team.

If that idea speaks to you, stick around, there’s so much more to uncover about life here. I hope you follow along!

Pain without proper context often leads to misdiagnosis and that’s a big reason why it keeps coming back.
Many treatment plans jump straight to therapy without fully understanding what’s going on beneath the surface.

Here’s the truth:

- Skipping a proper evaluation means missing the real issue.
- That’s why the pain often returns, no matter how many sessions you’ve had.
- Real healing starts with a full movement and nerve screening.
- You can’t fix what you haven’t truly understood.

In short, assessment isn’t a “nice-to-have.” It’s the foundation of lasting recovery.

Blaming pain solely on posture isn’t helpful. Certain positions can make pain feel worse, but they don’t cause it. Adjusting posture might ease discomfort, but the real fix is treating the underlying issue, like a disc problem. Once healed, you can sit however you want, as long as you keep moving.

Millions of Americans struggle with pain every day, often in the lower back, neck, knees, hips, and head. Understanding where pain commonly occurs helps us address it smarter, not just mask it.

Many pain issues come from lifestyle habits like sitting too long, poor posture, and repetitive strain. Knowing the “why” behind the pain is the first step toward lasting relief.

The key is to focus on the root cause through functional, natural rehab, helping your body heal, strengthen, and move better for the long haul.

Here’s a quick guide for a standing internal rotation with a band:

1. Tuck a towel under your arm.
2. Pull your arm inward against the band, keeping tension.
3. Do two sets of 12 to 15 reps to strengthen your shoulder with good control.

Simple and effective! 💪

Healing isn’t just about what an MRI shows. Two people with the same disc bulge might both feel pain-free and active after a few months, even if one’s MRI still shows the bulge. That’s real healing. On the other hand, if the bulge disappears on a scan but pain and limitations remain, the person hasn’t truly healed. So, healing means feeling better and moving well, not just what shows up on an image.

About 80% of people will experience low back pain in their lifetime, and nearly 60% are dealing with it right now or have recently. It’s the number one cause of disability in the world, by a wide margin. That’s not a title to be proud of. It shows just how common the problem is and how much our current healthcare approach is missing the mark. We need better solutions, and fast.
