šŸ¤” Our most common question: What is Chromatic?

Founded by , is not your typical Yoga class. Chromatic Yoga classes are intelligently sequenced classes that have a physical and/or philosophical theme woven throughout the entirety of the class. Each class is unique, (no stale flows here!) and designed specifically around one action in the body. We use this action in as many poses as possible throughout the class, in increasing difficulty. The more Chromatic classes you take, the more puzzle pieces you get to put in place.

Think ā€œchromatic scaleā€ in music, like a staircase. We scaffold the class to build on itself and work in specific postures that lead to a peak pose in which, if you were to incorporate the theme of the class, the pose might unlock, finding depth physically and mentally that we can guarantee you haven’t experienced before.

In Chromatic Yoga, we have a different approach to alignment. You’ll experience poses differently in each class, even if it seems like the same pose on the outside. This isn’t a ā€œcall out the name of the pose and just do itā€ or ā€œcopy this shapeā€ type of a practice, so even if you’re brand new to Yoga, you’ll never be lost.

Join us Monday-Thursday in the evenings as we blend the Chromatic way into a soulful and fluid vinyasa practice, and we guarantee you’ll learn something new about the practice, your body, your mind.
