✨Our First Café Connections Was a Success! ✨

Our hearts are truly full after Monday's group. 💛
We are so grateful for everyone who joined us for our very first Café Connections. Hearing survivor stories, watching meaningful conversations unfold, and witnessing the support and encouragement shared around the room was nothing short of magical.
The quotes our participants sent afterward say it all — and we put together a small visual to capture those special moments and words. Each message reminded us exactly why Café Connections exists and why community matters so deeply.
Thank you to every survivor, caregiver, and supporter who showed up, opened up, and poured into one another. This was only the beginning, and we can’t wait to continue building a space where connection, hope, and healing grow together.

🌿 Meet Chelsie — Founder of NeuroCollective🌿
Speech-Language Pathologist | Faith-Led Advocate for Neuro Recovery

For years, God placed a calling on my heart to create a space where neurological recovery feels connected, compassionate, and truly human. That calling has guided every step of this new journey with The NeuroCollective.
I’ve been a Speech-Language Pathologist for almost a decade, working across the full continuum of adult care — from acute care and inpatient rehab to outpatient clinics, skilled nursing, and home health. My specialties include brain injury rehabilitation, aphasia, dysphagia, and cognitive-communication recovery. This has allowed me to learn and experience first hand the "gaps" we face in our healthcare system for those with neurological disorders. But my “why” runs far deeper than my résumé.
As I was growing up, my grandfather suffered multiple strokes and was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I was able to share the journey in "gaining" language skills alongside him with his speech therapist. I’ve lived the the medical decisions, the grief, the hope, and the small victories that mean everything. That experience shapes the way I care for every client and family who walks through our doors.
I believe in treating the whole person — mind, body, spirit — and empowering caregivers every step of the way. Recovery isn’t just clinical… it’s relational, educational, and rooted in faith and community.
I’m honored to bring this mission to life through The NeuroCollective, where healing and connection meet. 💛
I can’t wait to serve you, your loved ones, and this community in a whole new way.
