Calcium Scoring test for just $50 throughout February. This quick, noninvasive
screening helps our cardiac specialists assess your potential risk for heart disease.

Test to help you better understand your cholesterol levels, including LDL,
HDL, triglycerides, and total cholesterol. This important information
helps our cardiac specialists provide more informed, personalized care— and could help identify heart health risks early.
IF YOU HAVE RISK FACTORS for heart disease, such as smoking,
diabetes, high blood pressure, being overweight, lack of exercise, or a family history of cholesterol issues, lipid panel testing may be right for
you. This simple blood test measures cholesterol levels that should be closely monitored to help prevent clogged arteries and other

Macon Community Hospital was proud to feature our Cardiac Rehabilitation team during this week’s Coffee Talk! Margaret and Kendra joined Stacey to share valuable information about the Cardiac Rehab services available right here at MCH.

Cardiac Rehab is designed to help patients recover and strengthen their heart health following cardiac events or procedures through supervised exercise, education, and lifestyle support.

They also reminded the community about MCH’s February Heart Health Month screenings, including:

David Flynn, Essential Services Director at Macon Community Hospital met with Tennessee Congress members and staff this week in Washington, DC to seek funding for the hospital's growth plans of a medical office building for outpatient services and to provide more space for specialist to come to Macon County. The new space will also include an education center for education opportunities for employees and the community.

Stacey and Angela had a great time participating with the Cumberland University Nursing recruitment fair in Lebanon, TN! We were also excited to run into two of our apprentices from Cumberland, Allie and Kinsley who will be graduating in December 2026. We also met up with two other employees Emily and Melissa who are in the nursing program! A Great Day!
