La'Toya Guillory
With a heart to reach my community, I set out to bring something different to the Acadiana area. I graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2006, with my Bachelors degree in Child and Family Studies. I completed my Masters of Arts in Human Services with Specialization in Marriage and Family, from Liberty University in 2017. Upon obtaining my Masters degree, I became a certified Marriage Enrichment Facilitator using the Prepare and Enrich curriculum.
My husband and I founded The Family Connection Inc. in April 2018. The Family Connection Inc. is a non-profit that offers life skills, counseling services, transitional housing services, educational development, and career guidance for older foster youth. Our passion is to reach families and assist them in reaching their full potential. Together we also serve as Marriage Enrichment Facilitators using the Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS) at Family Life Church.
