I'm not sure what to think about this bar...what do you think? At first glance it seems as if it is a healthy bar and for the most part it is, there seems to be healthy, pure ingredients in the bar. I guess my concern is the first two ingredients are sugar. My second concern is the amount of fat in the bar, seems a bit high to me. The sugar content could be better, but it also could be worse with grams in the 20's. Lastly, there does not seem to be very much protein if this was to be used as a meal replacement or maybe even a more filling bar. I guess when I look at this bar I say to myself...this is a healthy CANDY bar. My suggestion for a bar is to make your own bars and you can adjust the recipe to add addition protein, or take out some fat, etc. There are several "bar" and "ball" recipes on line that are super healthy!

A client passed this recipe on to me. When I heard what the ingredients were I wasn't too sure about how that would all come together, but it is very delicious and satisfying. It is also a great combination of protein, carbs and fat. I did not put fruit on mine, but the nut butter surprising brings all the flavors together!

Ingredients:
5 Egg Whites
1/2 Cup Oats
1 Shredded Zucchini
Combine ingredients in a bowl, stir and microwave for 2 minutes. Remove from microwave, stir and microwave for about 2 more minutes. Top with 1 tablespoon nut butter and blueberries.

CHOCOLATE COFFEE AVOCADO PUDDING
I had posted this recipe several weeks ago and finally had to try it!! It is so yummy. I think 1/4 of a cup is more than plenty for a single serving. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

AVOCADO 1-1/2 LARGE

UNSWEETENED COCOA POWDER 6 TBSP

SUGAR-FREE SYRUP 6 TBSP

EVAPORATED GOAT MILK 1/4 CUP

VANILLA EXTRACT 1 TSP

INSTANT COFFEE GRANULES OR ESPRESSO POWDER 1 TSP

Directions:
Process all ingredients in a food processor until velvety smooth.
Separate into individual portions, sprinkle with coarse salt, cover, and refrigerate overnight.

Serving size: 1/2 cup
Recipe yields: 4 servings

Fat 14 g
