No one should die of cervical cancer. This cancer is preventable. But our state is ranked 5th in the U.S. for cervical cancer deaths, with about 213 new cervical cancer cases diagnosed each year.

Through screening, it can be caught in its early (precancerous) stage. It is important that women start getting screened at age 21 and continue getting screened through age 64.
