Step back in time to 1960! We played a game today ‘What did it cost’ and it sparked conversation at our afternoon coffee chat. Life looked so different in 1960. A time that seems forgotten but not for them. They still remember that first home. Those hospital stays welcoming new babies. Those long work days for .75 cents an hour! But it was those days that made them who they are today and I’m so blessed to be a part of their everyday life now♥️

As we get older we start to forget things. But one thing a mother’s heart won’t forget is the love for her children. I can only imagine the struggles and hard times these mama’s have seen. The heartbreak of letting go over and over again. But also the joy of watching your children grow and have families of their own. They leaned on their faith and trusted God would not only protect their children but would comfort a mama’s broken heart. They sure are teaching this young mama life lessons I will cherish forever 🩷 ‘Coffee Chat at Courtyard’☕️
