Becoming an AAPC Approved Instructor has been one of the most rewarding milestones in my career.

When I first started in medical billing and coding, I was focused on learning, growing, and mastering my craft. I knew I wanted more—but I didn’t fully realize that one day I would be in a position to teach and mentor others entering this field.

Today, I have the privilege of not only working in healthcare revenue cycle management, but also helping others build the skills and confidence needed to succeed in this industry.

This journey has strengthened my expertise, deepened my understanding, and challenged me to continuously stay sharp and up to date. But more importantly, it has given me purpose beyond the work itself.

There is something incredibly powerful about pouring knowledge into others—especially in a field where accuracy, compliance, and education directly impact patient care and provider success.

As I continue building ELS Medical Billing Group and expanding into training through ELS Health Careers Institute, I’m excited to create more opportunities for aspiring billers and coders to learn, grow, and step into their own success.

This is just the beginning.

Georgia Home Care & Personal Support Agencies — Important Enrollment Deadline

If you are a Georgia home care or personal support agency that has already completed the required steps to become a Medicaid provider — such as your site visit, informational session, and required documentation — now is the time to begin your EDWP provider enrollment applications.

Providers must submit both applications through the GAMMIS portal:

• 590 – CCSP (Community Care Services Program)
• 930 – SOURCE

These applications must be submitted during the open enrollment window, and the current deadline for this cycle is May 31.

If you miss this window, the next opportunity to apply will not be until September.

As part of my work with ELS Medical Billing Group, I assist agencies with provider enrollment and GAMMIS application preparation, ensuring applications are completed correctly and submitted with all required documentation to avoid delays or withdrawals.

If your agency has already met the requirements and is ready to move forward with enrollment, feel free to send me a message or inbox me directly and I would be happy to discuss how I can assist with completing your CCSP 590 and SOURCE 930 applications.

Lately, I’ve been quieter on here — not because nothing’s happening, but because everything is happening.

New responsibilities.
New systems.
New goals.

I’m in a season of learning, refining, and building behind the scenes — both professionally and as a business owner.

Progress doesn’t always look loud. Sometimes it looks like focus.

Onward. 💙

✨ Grateful. Honored. A little nervous—but proud. ✨

I had the honor of being interviewed for MedOffice by ClaimTek, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to share my experience and insights in medical billing and revenue cycle management.

I won’t lie—I was definitely nervous 😬 stepping in front of the camera, but growth doesn’t happen in comfort. Every opportunity like this reminds me why I do what I do and how important it is to keep showing up, learning, and sharing knowledge with others in this industry.

Huge thank you to the ClaimTek / MedOffice team for the opportunity and for creating tools that support providers and billing professionals every day.

Here’s to pushing past nerves, embracing growth, and saying yes to opportunities that stretch you. 💙

The Vision

This building doesn’t exist yet—but it’s real to me.
Real in purpose. Real in intention. Real in faith.

Every late night, every setback, every moment I questioned myself still pointed me here. Not just to a building, but to what it represents: growth, stability, service, and legacy.

This vision is bigger than success.
It’s about creating something that lasts.
Something that serves people with excellence.
Something built from resilience, integrity, and belief.

I’ve learned that visions don’t arrive fully formed—they’re built brick by brick, decision by decision, prayer by prayer. What you see here is a reminder to keep going even when progress feels quiet. Especially then.

One day, this won’t just be a rendering or a dream—it will be doors opening, lives changing, and proof that staying the course matters.

Until then, I work. I believe. I build.

This is The Vision. And I’m walking toward it—every single day.

Behind the scenes doesn’t mean standing still.

I’ve been focused on building—developing specialized medical billing and revenue cycle training, strengthening internal systems, and preparing my company for the next phase of growth.

At the same time, I’m actively positioning for government contracting opportunities, with SBA 8(a) and EDWOSB applications currently in review and ongoing preparation for GSA MAS.

Growth requires preparation before opportunity.
I’m committed to doing the work now so I’m ready when the door opens.

It’s the first Monday back after the holidays.
And while many practices are focused on patient volume,
Q1 is actually where most revenue mistakes quietly begin.

Here are 3 things we see every January that end up costing practices all year:

🔹 Insurance updates not fully verified
(New plans, terminations, deductible resets—miss one and denials spike)

🔹 Old authorization workflows reused
(2025 rules ≠ 2026 rules)

🔹 “We’ll clean it up later” billing mindset
(Q1 claims set the tone for cash flow the rest of the year)

The practices that stay ahead don’t work harder—
they tighten their revenue cycle early.

We put together a short resource on what to review at the start of the year to protect cash flow and clean-claim rates.

2026 is NOT the year we play small.

If you’ve been thinking about starting or advancing a career in medical billing and coding, now is the time to take action. I’ve created in-depth training workbooks and live classes designed to give you real-world knowledge, structure, and confidence — not shortcuts, not fluff.

The workbooks help you understand the material step by step.
The classes help you apply it, ask questions, and build skills you can actually use.

If you’re ready to invest in yourself, level up professionally, and walk into 2026 prepared and focused, this is your sign.

👉 Purchase the training workbooks
👉 Sign up for the classes
👉 Let’s bring 2026 in with a BANG 💥
