Mark your calendars. This Saturday April 18th, 722 Jenkins St., Lagrange, GA.

There’s something powerful about doing the work and being called into rooms that reflect it.

Ife Olùso Ìye Tuntun is honored to share that we've been invited to serve as a featured panelist for a Black Maternal Health Week Community Platform hosted by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Theta Xi Omega Chapter, taking place right here in LaGrange, Georgia on April 18, 2026.

This conversation centers maternal health, community, the realities our families navigate, and I’m grateful to lend my voice as someone who lives this work daily.

Through Cherishing Life Beginnings and Cherishing Life Beginnings Divine Mother Foundation, Inc., we’ve been quietly building, supporting, and restoring the village and it’s time to expand that conversation.

If you know, you know. 🤎 Stay connected.

Y’all think this Maternal World is a game
UNTIL you become the player.

From mothers being taken to court while in labor, to babies lost in ways we don’t even have words for, to doulas being removed from birth rooms, to placentas being kept, sold, or withheld and families needing COURT ORDERS take home what their own body created…

To being told when you can birth, how you can birth, and where you can birth. To birth workers being criminalized
for doing what our ancestors did naturally, safely, and with wisdom, Oo, and let’s not forget this system is ranking among the WORST for maternal care in the most developed country on this planet.

Yet, yall still think this is just “how it is”…?
👁️‍🗨️ No, it is NOT and we need to STOP making excuses and pretending like it is. Money is being thrown at a broken system with expectations of change. The issue isn't money, its systemic racism, its lack of culturally competent training and care, its a lack accountability because you best believe they "cover there assess", it's dehumanizing black and brown women, it's experimental and harvesting, its machines and promoting childbirth without discomfort. The PROBLEM LIES with a system that criminalized our ancestors, took and stole our knowledge, put it in a package and attempted to sell it back to US, unfortunately, you can't teach what was instinctively given to US by God.

Honestly, this is a system that expects you not to question it and the moment you do, you realize you were never meant to be powerless in your own birth.

✨ It’s time to LEVEL UP. Why? Fear is taught but birth is instinctual. TWO PART CLASS - TWO PATHS, ONE TRUTH.
