Heart of West Georgia recently awarded Troup Cares, Inc. a grant for continuing to support the provision of high-quality medical care at no cost to uninsured/underinsured Troup County residents, ages 19 through 64 with an annual income at or below 200% of the poverty level. Troup Cares, Inc. was created from the vision of Dr. Tom Gore and Dr. Robert Copeland in 2006. Since welcoming its first patient in June 2007, the clinic has thrived thanks to strong community partnerships and dedicated staff and volunteers.
