🌟Employee Appreciation Spotlight – Kendra 🌟

Today we’re proud to introduce and celebrate Kendra, one of our incredible nurses at Major Surgical & Vein Clinic!

Kendra joined our team this February and is already making a meaningful impact on both our patients and our team.

Kendra loves being a nurse because she is able to make a difference in the lives of her patients while teaching them the importance of caring for themselves so they can live life to the fullest. She also values the stability of healthcare and the opportunity to continuously learn and grow in her career.

She has been a nurse for 10 years, and her healthcare journey began in 2011 as an EKG tech at a local hospital. We are so thankful for the experience, knowledge, and heart she brings to our patients each day.

Outside of work, Kendra enjoys traveling with her husband and 12 year old daughter, shopping, and crafting. She is also a small business owner. Her embroidery business, Magnolia Jewell, is intentionally spelled with two L’s in honor of her grandmother’s name, a detail that reflects how much family means to her.

Kendra, thank you for the care, dedication, and compassion you bring to our patients and our practice. We appreciate you more than you know. 💙

🌟Employee Appreciation Spotlight – Lorraine 🌟

Today we are honored to celebrate Lorraine, our Registered Vascular Technologist, and an integral part of Major Surgical & Vein Clinic.

Lorraine has worked alongside Dr. Major for many years and faithfully joined him when he opened his own practice at the end of 2024. Her loyalty and belief in the vision of this practice mean more than words can express.

Lorraine is highly skilled and widely respected as an expert in her field. Throughout her career, she has served as a sonography educator in academics and worked in various practice settings, bringing a depth of knowledge and experience that benefits both our patients and our team every day.

She truly cares for each patient, treating them as individuals, listening to their needs, and advocating for them with compassion and excellence. Lorraine is humble, kind, dedicated, passionate, and deeply committed to serving others.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Lorraine is a steady and supportive presence for our team. She is often the wise counsel the team seeks, always guiding with encouragement and helping steer everyone in a positive direction. She genuinely wants the best for those around her.

Outside of work, Lorraine loves her husband, children, and animals. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and caring for the animals on her farm.

Lorraine is truly part of the Major Surgical & Vein family, and her presence is woven into the heart of our practice. We are incredibly grateful for the wisdom, dedication, and compassion she brings to both our patients and our team.

🌟Employee Appreciation Spotlight – Brittney 🌟

Today we’re excited to celebrate Brittney, our amazing Front Office Assistant at Major Surgical & Vein Clinic!

Brittney has been in healthcare for 16 years in nonclinical support and has been with our practice for the past 7 months. Although she describes herself as a small part of a patient’s health journey, she loves seeing patients come “back to life” when they receive the proper care they need.

As the welcoming face of our front office, Brittney brings joy to our team with her incredible personality and sense of humor. She truly cares for people and leads with empathy. She is honest yet kind, detail oriented, and always willing to serve our patients and help them feel cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.

She also has an amazing artistic ability. Many of the banners you see at our events and during the holidays are specially made by her, adding a creative and personal touch to everything we do.

Outside of work, Brittney loves her family, and their household is fully dedicated to basketball. It’s a big part of their life and keeps them busy and cheering year round.

Brittney, thank you for the positivity, heart, and creativity you bring to our patients and our practice. We are so thankful for you. 💙

Today we’re proud to introduce and celebrate our incredible Nurse Manager, Kelly!

She began her healthcare journey in 2013 as a CNA while still in high school and continued to grow in her career, earning her LPN in 2021. Kelly has been part of the Major Surgical & Vein Clinic family since November 2024, and we are so thankful for the compassion, dedication, and commitment she brings to our team each day.

Beyond caring for our patients, Kelly is known for always being prepared and having just about anything you might need. She truly thinks of everything and is always looking for ways to make the day run smoother for those around her.

Fun fact: When she’s not caring for patients, she loves tackling DIY projects and she’ll be the first to tell you YouTube and TikTok can teach you just about anything!

Kelly, thank you for all you do to make Major Surgical & Vein Clinic so special. We appreciate you more than you know. 💙
