Dr. Laguna’s Story
With over 10,000 surgeries performed, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, A***n Mowlavi, MD, FACS, consistently delivers exceptional results wrapped in a comfortable and affordable experience. Dr. Mowlavi was born in Kansas City, Missouri and ventured out to California where he attended University High School and graduated as Valedictorian. After his success in high school, he attended The University of California, Berkeley where he majored in Biophysics and was chosen as the Commencement speaker for his class. He then travelled back to the midwest to go to medical school at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. California was calling by the end of his four years in Illinois, and Mowlavi returned to University of California, San Diego for his Residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Mowlavi, also known as Dr. Laguna, has settled down with his wife and office manager, Sarv, and two sons, Arman and Neelam in Laguna Beach, California. In his free time, Dr. Mowlavi spends time with his family relaxing at the beach or snowboarding in the mountains.
