What a party we had as we celebrated our annual Holiday Party. With good cheer we celebrated with our friends as we reflected on our past year of friendships, families, and accomplishments! Wishing all a wonderful holiday season.

Glennwood residents observed the 1st Night of Hanukkah and participated in the Annual Surfboard Menorah at Main Beach celebration.

They enjoyed Latkes, making dreidels, decorating cookies, face painting, dancing, and the lighting of the menorah. May the light bring peace to all.

International Day of Disabled Persons was acknowledged in 1992 by the United Nations General Assembly. It aims to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society and development. It offers an opportunity for our communities to increase their awareness of the daily challenges of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.

Evidence and experience has shown that when inclusion becomes part of their daily lives it empowers individuals to participate fully in their communities.

We at Glennwood strive for inclusion for all our Residents so they may live full and productive lives each and every day. By developing meaningful relationships with our community partners we foster and implement inclusiveness on a daily basis.

On this day of recognition we applaud all who join with us in working tirelessly to enhance the lives of those with disabilities.

Glennwood residents had a wonderful Friendsgiving as we started off the holiday season. DJBDIAMOND spun the tunes for us to dance the afternoon away with all our friends! Chef Brandon provided a Thanksgiving Feast for us to dine on! As we started the holiday season we gave thanks for all our friends and families who support us on our independent journey!

During this time of year, we reflect on our many blessings. Thankful for all those who support Glennwood and help us make our vision a reality for so many. We wish you all many blessings and hope you enjoy this special time with family and friends. May we all be filled with the spirit of giving and give thanks for all that we have been given. All of us at Glennwood wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.

On this Veterans Day, Glennwood House would like to honor and thank all veterans who fought for our freedom. Today we joined our community at Heisler Park for the beautiful Remembrance Day Ceremony to honor our veterans. May we never forget their sacrifices for all.

What a great evening! The superheroes came out in full force! Even the villains partied the night away! Here are a few of our superheroes in action! We are grateful for all who came out to support Glennwood Housing Foundation as well as all who continue to support our vision of independent living for all. We look forward to seeing you all next year!

We had a SPOOKTACULAR Halloween at Glennwood! Carter’s Haunted House upstairs in the B&G brought the gouls out to scare and spook us! Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority put on a great party with games and crafts to get us in the mood for a fun Halloween Party! We had a great time celebrating and bringing the spook into SPOOKtACULAR!!

Welcome to The Happenings at G-town! Our residents were making memories out and about town.
2- Drew had a great Birthday celebrating with friends! Happy Birthday Drew! 3-4 Tina and Brad working the gift shop at Festival of the Arts. 5-6 summer dance lessons at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. 7-social hour at G-Town
