Meet Brandy Faber, Leigha Feyen, their daughter Kaden, and pup Tavi. True Laguna locals. 🌞 Both Brandy and Leigha grew up here-attending El Morro Elementary, Thurston Middle, and Laguna Beach High. Now Kaden is carrying on the tradition as a student at El Morro.
Brandy’s passion for surfing has taken him all over the world, but his biggest pride is serving as Director of the Brooks St. Surfing Classic for the past 32 years-keeping the world’s oldest running surf contest (since 1955!) alive and thriving.
As a family, they love to surf, snowboard, travel, camp, and dive into new adventures together. Kaden is also a rising gymnast, already competing at Level 4!
Beyond family and the ocean, Brandy finds time to give back-whether it’s donating blood (“one of the best free gifts we can give”) or building community through his work. He co-founded two local favorites, the SIMA Award–winning action sports brand and the award-winning wine label .
