With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for the life he lived, we remember, Our dear Founder and President, Carl Buffa — a devoted husband, avid fisherman, passionate surfer, and friend to many.
Carl had a spirit that was as boundless as the rivers and ocean he loved. Whether casting a line at dawn or catching waves until the sun set, he found joy, peace, and freedom in the water. To Carl, fishing and surfing were never just pastimes; they were reflections of his soul
- patient, adventurous, and always attuned to the rhythms of nature.
Beyond his love for the outdoors, Carl will be most remembered as a loving and devoted husband to Cora, the center of his world. Together, they built a partnership filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. He was a proud and loving father to Casey, a caring step-parent to Nino and Seymour, and a cherished grandparent to Rafa and Lauren.
His family was the heart of his world, and every moment spent together was treasured deeply. His loyalty and kindness extended to family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Carl leaves behind not just memories, but a legacy of living fully and with purpose - to embrace the waves of life, to find joy in the quiet moments, and to always hold close the ones we love.
Though he has left this earthly shore, Carl's spirit will live on in every sunrise over the water, in the crest of each wave, and in the hearts of all who cherished him.
