One of the biggest mistakes I see?
Letting the scale determine whether your health journey is “working.”

The number on the scale can’t tell you:

* how much muscle you’ve gained
* whether body fat decreased
* if visceral fat improved
* or if your nutrition and strength training are actually paying off

I recently had a patient frustrated after seeing the scale go up… but her InBody scan showed improved body composition and increased muscle mass.

Sometimes progress looks very different than expected.

This is why I love using tools like the InBody 580 in practice — they help us look deeper than weight alone.

Yes it’s true!!!

If you’ve been told your symptoms ARE likely due to perimenopause but there’s nothing you can do about it…please find a new doctor. There are great options for women who still get their periods!

We now know that hormone changes happen in our 30s-40s and starting HRT in perimenopause actually has great long-term benefits.
