Letter of Recommendation for
Karry's Elder Care
Karry, her husband Scott and their daughters are all involved with the care oftheir residents. My
father had the privilege to be in their home for over three years.
This is not a cold administrative existence, it is a home. Karry is very insightful and knows how
to bring the residents' family in on any feelings or concerns the resident may have.
Karry not only prepares excellent and nutritious meals and administers medications properly, but
always goes the extra mile. She is always aware of the comfort (physical or emotional) of her
residents arid knows how to help them with a positive attitude.
When my father needed to be hospitalized for a while, Karry came on many visits and spoke with
staff to ensure that he was being well cared for and that everything was being done to get him
better as soon as possible.
She shaved him with her gentle and caring hand and he glowed under her care.
The family always makes sure there are fun and stimulating things to do too. It could be a car
ride to the Library, a restaurant, sightseeing, or a walk to the park to watch children play. It's all
the little things they do to make every day interesting. My father loves baseball, so Scott watched
games with him and even once took him to an Angels game!
The whole family attended Dad's services. This devotion is beyond the call of duty. My father
loved this family as his own, as do 1. My family and I were always very comfortable with Dad
being here, knowing he was getting the best care possible.
Please don't hesitate to put your family member in Karry's care. Their well being in all aspects
will only be enhanced.

To Whom it May Concern:

Although my mom was only at Karry’s Elder Care for 5 days due to being on Hospice, the care that Karry provided was excellent in all ways. My mom required virtually constant attention and I always felt that Karry was taking care of her every need. She went above and beyond what would be considered standard care. She served nutritious food that my mom was willing to eat. It is my belief that if I’d gotten my mom into Karry’s Elder Care sooner it would have improved her quality of life and longevity as well.
Before she passed, my mother had several guests visit and they all commented on what a good job Karry was doing and how comfortable the surroundings were.
Due to Karry’s compassion I was able to be with my mother on her last day and until her last breath. And although it was after midnight, she was instrumental in contacting the mortuary and ensuring everything went smoothly.
I would have no hesitation at recommending Karry’s Elder Care to anyone else that wants the type of personal care that a family member would give to their mom or dad.
Sincerely,

David Raht

Karry Campbell (Karry’s Elder Care)

Dear Karry:

We want to thank you and your family for the extraordinary care that was given to our
mother while in your care. You, Scott, Sabrina, and Veronica became so close to her, she
considered all of you members of her family.

Mom had a stroke in 2004, and though apparently thoroughly recovering, began to
develop eating, weight loss, and depression problems. When it reached the point where
we realized we were unable to give her the care she needed in our home, a series of
referrals led us to you and a subsequent placing of her into your care.

Over the next year, with your excellent nutritional care and personal attention, Mom’s
weight stabilized, her eating habits returned to near-normal, and her depression waned.

For the next six years, in spite of her advancing age, we watched her thrive in your care.
As you know, we spent a lot of time with her, visiting and on outings. She always liked to
tell us about her days since our previous visit. The stories and vignettes she told were of
someone who was relating family activities and was a reflection of her comfort with your
family.

The life-threatening stroke she had shortly before her 96th birthday in January 2012 put
her in the hospital. With hospice care being the only remaining diagnoses, we were
concerned that her final days would be distressing for her. When we learned that you
were licensed and able to provide hospice care for her, a large burden was lifted knowing
that she would be “at home” for her remaining days, which turned out to be a little over a
week more with you.

It was her time. She had a long and good life, and we are happy for her.

On a scale of one to ten, we would rate Karry’s Elder Care as a ten. We would be happy
to share our experiences with others who may be interested, Feel free to give them our
phone number as well as share this letter.

Loving regards to all of you,

Jim & Masako Coshland

To Whom It May Concern,

If you are looking for a reliable, compassionate caregiver who has your loved one’s best interests at heart, then consider Karry Campbell of Elder Care.

For over 3 years Karry cared for my mother. Her care & presence allowed our mom to spend her final months in a "home like"environment, feeling comfortable and safe. We never had to worry about her wellbeing or safety.

Karry’s stamina and skill at addressing personal needs as well as assisting in activities of daily living was impressive, and matched only by her patience and empathy. She communicated with our mother almost intuitively, and was always kind and mindful in relation to Mom’s cognitive decline and her health needs.
