As we gather for Thanksgiving, it’s important to honor the truth beneath this holiday.
While many Americans celebrate gratitude and family, Indigenous communities continue to carry the generational trauma, loss, and displacement tied to this history. Today, I choose to recognize their resilience, their cultures, and their enduring fight for visibility and justice.

Gratitude means nothing without honesty. And healing begins when we acknowledge the full story.

Let’s use this season to practice empathy, listen deeply, uplift Indigenous voices, and support true restorative action.
