Non-GMO versus Organic

If you assume that the Non-GMO label is equivalent to the Organic label, you’re not alone.

Organic food is non-GMO, but non-GMO food isn’t necessarily organic.

Let’s break it down...

✔️Non-GMO Project verifies that a product doesn’t contain GMO ingredients. While that is good, it’s not the whole story about what the product contains, how it was produced, and where it came from.

✔️USDA Organic regulations prohibit any GMO ingredients in a certified organic product.

✔️Organic crops cannot be grown with synthetic pesticides. Non-GMO crops can be grown the same as conventional crops and can still be laden with toxic pesticide residue.

✔️Glyphosate (Roundup) is prohibited on organic crops. Non-GMO crops (such as non-organic wheat and non-organic oats) can be sprayed pre-harvest with Roundup. This herbicide accumulates in your body the more you are exposed to it and is linked to cancer.

✔️Organic ingredients aren’t processed with the neurotoxin hexane.

✔️Organic crops are prohibited from being fertilized with sewage sludge (biosolids) which is literally the treated waste that’s flushed down the toilet, and waste from hospitals and industry.

✔️Organic meat isn’t produced with growth-promoting drugs, like ractopamine.

✔️Organic animals aren’t fattened up with growth-promoting antibiotics. Antibiotics have been used for years, not just to fight infection, but to fatten up farm animals. The overuse of growth-promoting antibiotics is creating superbugs that could threaten the entire human population.

All of this is why the Non-GMO label is NOT enough!

Please share this and share the truth about what these labels mean. Most people don’t know this information.

Cholesterol Myths and Truths

**I highly recommend reading more about cholesterol myths and follow the Weston A. Price Foundation

Myth: people with high cholesterol are more
prone to heart attacks
Truth: young and middle aged men with cholesterol levels over 350 are slightly at more risk. Those with levels below 350 are at no grater risk than those with very low cholesterol. For elderly men and for women of all ages, high cholesterol is associated with a longer lifespan

Myth: cholesterol and saturated fat of arteries
Truth: there is very little cholesterol or saturated fat in arterial plaque or clogs. Most of the material is a calcium deposit akin to lime and most of the fatty acids are unsaturated.

Myth: Eating saturated fat and cholesterol rich foods will cause cholesterol levels to rise and make people more susceptible to heart disease
Truth: many studies show no relationship between diet and cholesterol levels. there is no evidence that saturated fat and cholesterol rich foods contribute to heart disease. As americans have cut back on saturated fat and cholesterol rich foods, rates of heart disease have gone up.

Myth: cholesterol lowering drugs have saved many lives
Truth: in two trials, involving over 10,000 subjects, cholesterol lowering drugs did not result in any improvement in outcome

Myth: countries that have a high consumption of animal fat and cholesterol have higher rates of heart disease
Truth: there are many exceptions to this observation, such as France and Spain. Furthermore, an association called a “risk factor” is not the same as cause. In wealthy countries where people eat a lot of animal foods, many other factors exist that can contribute to heart disease.

Dangers of Statin Drugs

Modern cholesterol lowering drugs act by inhibiting an enzyme (HMG-CoA reductase) needed for the formation of cholesterol in the liver. These HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors, called statins, are sold as Lipitor, Mevacor, Pravacol, Zocor, etc.

weakness and muscle wasting: the most common side effects of statins occurring in as many as 1:3 users. Muscle aches, pains, back pain, heel pain, weakness and slurring of speech from statin interference with the production of Coenzyme Q10, needed for the muscles to function. These side effects are more common in active people and may not show up until 3 years into treatment.

heart failure: Rates it heart failure have doubled since the advent of statin drugs. The heart is a muscle that depends on a plentiful supply of Co-Q10

Polyneyneyneuropathy: Tingling and pain in the hands and feet as well as difficulty walking occur frequently in those taking statins, conditions often blamed on “old age” esther than the drug

Cognitive impairment: Many patients have reported memory loss and brain fog, including total global amnesia (episodes of complete memory loss) The implications for pilots and those driving cars and trucks are profound.

cancer: In every study with rodents to date, statins have caused cancer. Most human trials are not carried out long enough to detect an increase in cancer rates, but in one trial, breast cancer rates of those taking a statin were 1500 percent higher than those of controls

depression: numerous studies have linked low cholesterol with depression

If it’s isn’t Cholesterol then what is the cause of Heart Disease?

Many scientists have put forth valid theories for the epidemic of heart disease:

Deficiencies of Vitamin A and D - back in the 1930’s it was observed that rates of heart attack rose when levels of these fat-soluble vitamins in local butter went down. (take your master formula)

Deficiencies of Vitamins B6, B12 and folinic acid: (take your SUPER B!!) - low levels of these lead to elevated levels of homocysteine a marker for heart disease

trans fatty acids - the replacement of saturated fats with these is linked to heart disease. Saturated fats actually protect the heart

mineral deficiencies - deficiencies of magnesium, copper and vanadium have been linked to heart disease.

milk pasteurization - in Britain a study was done that showed an increase in heart disease to districts with milk pasteurization compared to raw

stress - heart attacks often occur after a period of stress, which depleted the body of many nutrients and enzymes

Vital Role of Cholesterol

•cholesterol is produced by almost every cell in the body
•cholesterol in cell membranes makes cells waterproof so there can be a different chemistry inside the cell versus outside
•cholesterol is nature’s repair substance, used to repair wounds, including tears and irritations of the arteries
•many important hormones are made of cholesterol, including hormones that regulate mineral metabolism and blood sugar, hormones that help to deal with stress, and all the s*x hormones, such as testosterone and estrogen and progesterone.
•cholesterol is vital in brain and nervous system protection
•cholesterol fights against depression and plays a vital role in the production of the body’s “feel good” hormone serotonin.
•the bile salts, needed for digestion of fats, are made of cholesterol
•cholesterol is the precursor of vitamin D, which is formed by the action of ultra-violet light (UV-B) on cholesterol in the skin
•cholesterol is a powerful antioxidant that protects us against free radicals and therefor against cancer
•cholesterol, especially LDL (the so called bad cholesterol) helps to fight infection

How to avoid Heart disease

•try not to worry about unnecessary things, worry can cause heart disease.
•research side effects of your prescribed or over the counter medications. TAKE THE TIME TO BE YOUR OWN HEALTH ADVOCATE
•avoid processed foods especially trans fats and vegetable oils
•eat the meat, fat and organ meats of grass fed animals
•eat plenty of wild caught seafood
•take cod liver oil and consume lots of grass fed butter and take additional vitamin A/K/D
•maintain a healthy weight
•engage in exercise daily
•do not smoke or use e-cigarettes
•avoid exposure to environmental toxins

Supplements to support heart health

•mineral essence
•master formula
•super B
•cardiogize
•ningxia red!!!!!
•mindwise

In this world that ‘seems’ topsy turvy at times, sometimes we need gentle reminders to turn within, pray 🙏🏻 , connect to our source, and just BREATHE❗️ 💨
It’ not very hard or very time-consuming to do something the body does naturally, yet most of us don’t breathe deeply enough to help our mind and body function optimally.

Other than improving oxygen intake and reaping it’s benefits, there are several other benefits to deep breathing:
~it allows the body to naturally calm down
~It also allows the mind to relax
~it’s like a positive affirmation in that it will be with you all the time
~it will not get in the way of your normal daily life.

2 simple breathing techniques:
(In through the nose 👃🏻 out through the mouth 👄)
1) 4-7-8 ➡️ deep inhale for 4 counts, hold for 7, exhale slowly for 8 counts. Repeat 3 times and do thus 2-5 tines a day.
2) 5-5 ➡️ 5 count inhale & 5 count exhale. This is how we should be breathing normally throughout the day. With practice, you will!

Try it now! You’ll see just how easy it is to do and you don’t have to find or make time to BREATHE! 👃🏻 💨

You can do it!! Get out & be social!!!
