Happy Lammas 🧡💛🤎

Lammas is the halfway point between the summer solstice and autumn equinox. Lammas marks the beginning of the harvest season, usually grain. Lammas, comes from the Old English term "loaf mass". It is a festival that celebrates the abundance of the earth and the fruits of labor. During this time, people give thanks for the harvest, express gratitude for the nourishment provided by the land, and acknowledge the interconnectedness of humanity and nature. In some traditions, this is also a day od honoring Celtic God Lughnasadh (or Lugh) and his mythical mother, who is believes to be the one who cleared the lands of Ireland to make way for the planting of crops.

Lammas is a time of transition and preparation for the coming autumn season. Reflect on what you are ready to release or let go of in your life as you enter this new phase.
