An ED can own almost every area of your life.

Sounds dramatic? It’s not. It chose my decision making process in almost every area. Where I could go and what I could do. My job. My social life. My time with family.

It’s ED Awareness week ❤️❤️‍🩹🫶

In sharing my story is so important to help other people feel seen and safe. I love being a provider in the space and really, truly seeing people heal and grow from their eating disorder. I also love people seeing how they’re eating disorder and mental health has impacted their lives.

As a dietitian, my role is not only to help people feed and nourish their bodies, but also cultivate a healthy relationship with food and their body. This looks different for everyone and I meet each of my clients where they are today.

A recent med analysis actually showed that tai chi had better effects and bone or density than Pilates. The proof is in the data not my opinion.

Enjoy Pilates but also lift weights. By the way, osteoporosis and hip fracture pose the biggest risk to your quality of life longevity as you get older. Actually individuals who have a hip fracture and adult page have a very high increase of mortality in the one to two years following that hip fracture again I don’t make things up. I just give you guys the data and I don’t lie to make money.
