Today, our team had the privilege of spending the morning at Union County High School for Career Day, and it was one of those moments that makes you feel proud of where we live and confident in the future.
We met inspired students already exploring careers in healthcare, including nursing, physicians, radiology, therapy, lab, neurology, EMS, imaging, pharmacy, respiratory care, surgical services, nutrition, behavioral health, administration, veterinary, and so much more.
Students were full of curiosity, and we loved their questions:
• I faint at the sight of blood. Do I still have a future in healthcare?
• How often do people come in because Google scared them?
• What does a day in the ER really look like, and do you ever get a quiet day?
• Needles freak me out. What are good options that don’t involve them?
• How hard is nursing school, for real?
• I love helping people, but math hates me. What are my options?
Those questions matter. These students are curious, learning, and growing into the kind of citizens who will strengthen the world wherever they go, starting right here in Union County.
To the parents, teachers, and local businesses supporting the event today, thank you for helping these students grow into confident, capable young adults. And to every student who stopped by, keep asking questions, keep learning, and keep dreaming big. We’re al cheering you on, and we cannot wait to see the amazing things you’ll do. The future is in good hands. 💜💛🐯
