Today, several members of our Lake Butler Hospital and Clinic teams spent the morning with more than 700 students at Lake Butler Middle School for Career Day. It was amazing to see the gym packed with local businesses and community organizations, each giving students a real look at the careers that keep Union County strong.

Many students shared interests in careers across healthcare and medical science, including doctors, nurses, therapists, radiologists, surgeons, CNAs, biotechnology, medical innovation, and even genetic engineering.

Today showed us that the future of healthcare is in good hands.

To our team members who volunteered their time and energy today, thank you for representing Lake Butler Hospital with enthusiasm, kindness, and a genuine commitment to the next generation.

What a beautiful morning at Let’s THRIVE. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the room feel warm, joyful, and full of connection. Holly and Shannon shared simple and practical wellness steps for better blood sugar and diabetes support, and our movement, conversations, and group challenges brought out so many smiles.

Our Season to Savor autumn menu, featuring fresh-made sweet potato gnocchi, crispy garlic green beans, cranberry pumpkin bread, and a cranberry rosemary spritz, added comfort, steady energy, and true fall flavor to the morning.

These moments together remind us how important it is to slow down, take care of ourselves, and stay connected to our community. We are grateful for each of you.

Our next Let’s THRIVE is December 11 at 10 AM. It is free for adults 55 and older. Bring a friend and come share the morning with us.

A huge thank you to Big Scrub Trail Riders and United For A Cure Lake Butler for hosting this weekend's 1st Annual Armadillo Fun Run Charity Event. It was an honor to be out there with you all and to see so many motorcycles, 4-wheelers, and ATVs show up to support families in our community who are facing cancer.

The heart behind today’s ride was powerful, the energy was incredible, and the unity on those trails was something special. We’re grateful for every rider, volunteer, and supporter who came together to make a difference.

Lake Butler Hospital is proud to stand with organizations and community partners who care this deeply.

We were honored to host a young local performer, Stetson Floyd Music, whose music brought comfort, joy, and connection to our hospital today. Patients and staff felt re-energized, and the entire building lit up with the warmth he shared so naturally.

This talented young man sang his heart out with confidence, kindness, and a genuine love for bringing joy to others, reflecting the very best of our community’s values. We are incredibly proud of him and his family for choosing to share his gift in such a meaningful way.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the Union County Impact Initiative and the Floyd family for making this visit possible and for helping us bring such an uplifting and memorable experience to our patients and team.
