❤️🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes at Sage Oak 🇺🇸❤️

Today, we paused to honor the remarkable men and women who once stood in uniform to defend our freedom and who now bless our halls with their stories, wisdom, and quiet strength.

Our residents who served remind us that courage doesn’t fade with age. Their service shaped history, and their presence continues to shape our community.

A special thank you to Jill with Amedisys Hospice for joining us to present pins and certificates to our honored veterans. Your thoughtful recognition brought pride, smiles, and a few tears to all who gathered.

From all of us at Sage Oak: we are proud, we are grateful, and we will never forget!

No to be outdone …fall coziness hit a whole new level in Memory Care. Pajamas, warm cocoa piled high with whipped cream, pumpkin decorating, games, and lots of giggles made for the sweetest fall activities.

Nothing beats seeing our residents relax, get creative, and enjoy seasonal traditions in a way that feels comforting and familiar. A little whipped cream, a lot of laughter, and pumpkins with big silly face…that’s autumn magic right there

Thank you to our team for bringing the festive spirit and to our residents for reminding us that joy shows up in the simplest moments: a warm mug, a good friend, a splash of color, and time shared together.

Proof that fall feels even better in fuzzy socks 🎃🧡☕️

Halloween week wrapped up at Sage Oak with a whole lot of joy and just a sprinkle of mischief!

From our big Trunk-or-Treat bash to pumpkin decorating, laughter, games, and good-natured competition... fall spirit was everywhere you turned

Our residents lit up seeing families and little ones in costume, and we loved watching our community come together for pure, simple fun. Thank you to every neighbor, family, staff member, friend, and costumed cutie who made the week feel magical.

More photos and a few of our favorite moments coming soon. Stay tuned… the pumpkins may be tucked away, but the smiles are sticking around.

Halloween sprinkled a little extra magic at Sage Oak of Lake Charles last night. Almost 400 trick-or-treaters giggled, roared, twirled, and toddled past our residents!

Staff and families showed up with big hearts and even bigger creativity, and our community wrapped around our seniors in the sweetest way.

It was pure joy to watch our residents faces absolutely light up handing out candy and soaking in the fun. It wasn’t just treats being shared…it was connection, nostalgia, and a whole lot of happiness.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make memories that’ll keep us smiling for a good long while.

🍂 Fall Fun at Sage Oak! 🍁

Our residents and team have been busy getting into the autumn spirit with crafts, games, and a whole lot of creativity and the results were incredible!

Today we hosted our annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest, and the competition was fierce! From cookie-monsters to Raggedy Ann smiles, every entry showed off the heart and humor that make our Sage Oak family so special

🌶 Community, Camaraderie, and Chili! 🌶

A huge thank you to our friends at The Villages of Imperial Pointe for inviting Sage Oak to join this year’s Chili Cook-Off!

Our Sage Oak Chefs, Nichole Guynes and Andrew Banck, had a great time sharing the kitchen (and a few secret ingredients) with some incredible local talent!

Chef Nichole’s hearty chili and cornbread had everyone returning for seconds, while Chef Andrew brought his signature creative touch to the presentation. Once again proving that flavor and flair go hand in hand

One of The Villages’ very own residents, Chef Walter, swept both categories and we couldn’t be happier for him!!

The real win for us was seeing local senior communities, businesses & restaurants come together in the spirit of fun, food, and friendship!
