Let’s hit the road! Our first stop, Fresh Pickins, did not disappoint. We love exploring everything SWLA has to offer! Today, we took our residents out to pick fresh veggies, canned goods, and baked treats. 🌽🥕

After our harvest, we headed to the In-Laws-Iowa, La for a delicious lunch of fried ribs and some fantastic Southern cuisine. Full and happy, we made a quick stop at Jo's Cupcakes pop-up shop for dessert. It was the perfect way to enjoy the day!

Already looking forward to our next adventure!

Welcome to our guest speaker tonight, Dr. Tyson Green, DPM, who captivated our VIP residents with his expertise. As a specialist in podiatric medicine and wound care at the Memorial Wound Care Center in Lake Charles, LA, Dr. Green brings a wealth of knowledge to the table.

With degrees from Wichita State University and Louisiana State University, he honed his skills at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed a distinguished residency at the University of Texas A&M Health Sciences Center. His research on diabetic foot conditions offers crucial insights into prevention and treatment.

We appreciate his expert opinions and the invaluable information he shared with our residents.
