💜WHAT’S YOUR WHY💜

My name is Courtnie Erbelding, and I serve as the Executive Director for Heart of Hospice. I began my journey in hospice care eight years ago—unaware that this work would soon become deeply personal. Just three months after joining the hospice team, my father was admitted to hospice and later passed away. His experience profoundly shaped my mission and passion for this field, showing me firsthand the impact of compassionate, quality end-of-life care.

Since then, my hospice team has also cared for my grandmother and my sister-in-law. Each of their journeys further strengthened my belief in the importance of what we do and deepened my commitment to serving others during life’s most vulnerable moments.

Hospice is not about giving up hope—it’s about redefining it. It’s about providing comfort, dignity, and quality care to patients and their families when they need it most. At Heart of Hospice, our mission is to walk beside our patients and families with compassion, respect, and unwavering support.
